From the home screen, the Orchestra opens on its tuner. A voice sings the notes of raga Ahir Bhairav and the tuner follows each one, then the band joins in Teentaal at 175 beats per minute. The tabla fills grow, the sur tabla, ghungroo, shaker and tambourine join, a flourish runs into the sam, and the rhythm plays its ending, stopping on the last sam as the drones ring on.

Sandeep has been passionate about both music and software engineering since childhood. To balance the two parallel careers, he drew inspiration from fields like discrete mathematics, combinatorics, graph theory, software testing, neuroscience, and learning theory to optimize his vocal practice. He has condensed his 10-hour workout into a powerful 1-hour workout (NaadYoga), and even a super effective 15-minute version for everyone.
He’s also been teaching students of music since 2005. Drawing on that experience, he’s created NaadQuest — a growing library of teaching videos, NaadYoga workouts and practices, concerts, recordings, interviews, and practical tips for musicians and music lovers everywhere.
